Hey Everyone!
Today we are unveiling the fourth station in Papa’s Pastaria, the Bread Station!
Here you will be toasting up bread to go with your perfectly arranged dish of pasta. This station is available at the very start of the game. As you level up, you will slowly unlock a variety of tasty breads. The bread takes time to toast and if you leave it out too long, it will get cold. So you’ll want to time your toasting just right while you make the pasta. But don’t worry, upgrades are available to speed up cooking and to keep those breads toasty warm. You will even be able to buy second toaster if you want.
Also, some of you may have noticed that the Station Button strip has changed a bit. This leads to the next improvement we made for this game…
That’s correct, we are finally giving you the option to independently mute music and/or sound fx. Now you can listen to your favorite tunes, but still hear those alarms bells ringing when your pasta is finished. You could also jam out to the music without all those pesky immersive sound fx getting in the way. Or you can just mute both of them so nobody can hear you playing Papa’s Pastaria for the tenth time that day!
That’s it for today! Stay tuned for more info on Papa’s Pastaria!
Hey Everyone!
Yet another sneak peek this week, and this time it’s all about clothes! We are adding yet another new feature to Papa’s Pastaria… Holiday Themed Clothes!
If any of your clothing has a theme that matches the current holiday, you’ll earn extra tips for each item! So with that in mind, you can expect a whole lot more clothing in Papa’s Pastaria! Holiday themed clothes alone make upwards of 120 unique items! That’s not including a handful of returning non-themed accessories and hats.
Speaking of accessories…
When you buy or win new clothing, you are essentially getting two pairs, one for your chef and one for your server. That way, if you want, they can both have matching outfits and look like a super stylish team! You can customize your server at anytime just like you would your chef.
Well that’s it for today! Stay tuned for more info on Papa’s Pastaria!
Hey Everyone!
We will be doing lots of previews for Papa’s Pastaria this week! Today, we are showing off some stations for the first time!
After you take an order, you’re going to want to head over the the Cook Station. There you will boil the pasta to either regular or “al dente“. Halfway through the process, you will need to make sure you stir the pasta. Once the pasta is finished, you will pop the strainer out and let the water drain away. This takes a little time, but it can be sped up gently shaking the strainer. Be careful because if you shake it too crazy, you’ll send pasta flying everywhere. After the pasta has been strained, you will pour it on the plate and send it off to the Build Station.
The first step in the Build Station is selecting the right sauce. You’ll then carefully pour the sauce over the freshly cooked pasta. In this example we have a plate of perfectly cooked Gnocchi.
After the sauce has been poured, you will then move on to the toppings. There, you can shake out some seasonings and place toppings like meatballs. You’ll want to keep the toppings spread out perfectly, and if you have different types, you’ll want to evenly distribute them as well.
Once that is complete you will move onto the fourth station. However, we’ll save that for another day. So stay tuned for more sneak peeks of Papa’s Pastaria!
