Welcome back to Wendy’s Wheels! Here we showcase the amazing karts created by Wendy at the Greasy Gear Garage in Maple Mountain.
This week’s exhibit is a custom kart created for Lloyd called… The Frond Tiki. The kart is a tropical skiff design with kerosene-fueled tiki-torch boosters. The entire kart is hand-carved from a single Albizia trunk with bamboo accents. The Frond Tiki features a Calypsonian MooTiki face carved into the hood, a proud nod to Lloyd’s island roots and his love of tiki culture.

This week’s exhibit is a custom kart created for Simone called… The Sonic Hush. The kart is a steady pickup design with double shocks on each wheel. Built with an electric engine for near-silent cruising, The Sonic Hush keeps road noise low and footage clean, letting Simone roll through filming runs with smooth control and barely a whisper.

This week’s exhibit is a custom kart created for Vicky called… The BriskBerry. The kart is a curved utility design with mirrored side windows. The BriskBerry was built to both complement and compete with the CloudCutter, her daughter Mindy’s kart. To properly challenge a roadster, the harsh angles of a typical utility build were softened into smooth curves for a more aerodynamic ride.
